David Cross has announced a special show he’s calling “David Cross And His Super Pals” which happens August 8 at SummerStage in Central Park. Those super pals include his Mr Show collaborator Bob Odenkirk, plus Sarah Silverman, Fred Armisen, Sean Patton, Zach Zucker, Shane Torres, and more to be announced. Tickets go on sale Friday, April 19 at 10 AM with presales beforehand.
The only other live dates David has lined up are a couple tapings of his Senses Working Overtime podcast in L.A. at Largo on May 11 as part of the 2024 Netflix is a Joke festival, and a couple of Brooklyn “Shootin’ the Shit, Seein’ What Sticks” dates at The Sultan Room on May 6 and May 13.
In other news, Cross (who celebrated his 60th birthday earlier this month with a private party at Brooklyn’s Union Hall), has joined the cast of Netflix’ The Umbrella Academy for its fourth and final season. That premieres August 8, the same day as his SummerStage show.
